Guide Services

Outcast River Guides specialize in year around light tackle and fly tackle angling adventures for Steelhead, Salmon, Resident Brown, Brook and Rainbow Trout, Lake Run Browns and Smallmouth Bass.

We belive that our job as a guide is to determine what an enjoyable river experience means to each and every one of our guests.  While we cannot control the weather or the fish bite, we will strive to be the best at everything we can control.  We will use every day on the river as a tool to improve our service to our guests.  We want each day on the river to be a more enjoyable experience than the previous day.

Trips:

Full day float trips (approximately 8 hours) year around
Half day float trips during the winter (approximately 4 hours)

What We Supply:

First class, clean and well maintained boats
All tackle including rods, reels, and terminal gear
Soft drinks, water and snacks (optional shore lunch is available)
Lodging assistance - we work with several motels and rental cabins.
We are a licensed, insured and USFS permittee in the Huron/Manistee National Forest

Guide Rates:

Half Day Float Trip----------------------$200.00
Full Day Float Trip---------------------- $300.00
Full Day Float Trip w/shore lunch--------$325.00

We do not require a deposit for your trip.   All we ask is that you contact us as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to fish on your scheduled day.  This will allow us the opportunity to reschedule the day.
